TP-Link Omada Wireless Bridge Kits

Buying Guide: Wireless Bridge Kits in Pakistan

A wireless bridge kit is a pair of units that talk to each other in a straight line. One unit connects to your network, and the other sits in a second building, shop or camera pole and shares the connection there. It is a quick and low-cost way to link a gate, a warehouse, a farm shed or a rooftop camera.

Choose the kit by distance and line of sight. The units must face each other without walls or trees in between. The Beam Bridge 5 UR kit is made for longer outdoor links, and the EAP211 and EAP215 kits suit shorter links. Mount them high and aim them carefully.

Pakistani offices, schools, hotels, clinics, factories and shopping marts choose Omada access points because one controller can run Wi-Fi across many rooms, floors and branches in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and Quetta. People roam from room to room without dropping a call, and you can add more access points as the business grows.

Power cuts are common, so power the access points through a PoE switch and put that one switch on a UPS. The Wi-Fi then stays up during load shedding without a UPS at every access point. Omada access points take 802.3af/at PoE, so one network cable carries both data and power.

As a rule of thumb, one access point covers two to four rooms indoors or one open hall. An office of 20 to 30 people usually needs one access point per floor or per 150 to 200 square metres, and busy places such as schools, hotels, restaurants and marts need more.
